Santa Writing

Greetings Santa,
Thank you for your wonderful gifts. They were so interesting For me because it felt like christmas was early. I really love the soccer ball you gave me because i’m already starting to like it since the day I got it. It meant so much to me and I also liked the colouring books because me & my younger sister were having a jam at it. At lunch I Saw the gifts and especially my one I had done this gift thing since 2 years ago. Once I first got my Gift I was shocked my reaction was “No way there’s no way they got me this”.
Thank you for the interesting and wonderful gifts Santa.

Thank you for your kindness
-Love From Havea

Hope you Have a Jolly Christmas and a happy New year.

GuyFawkes

“Argh what is that sound? it is like a grenade blowing up”. “Oh No it’s guy fawkes” as I peek out of my window and saw the most beautiful colours in the sky they were blue, red and white just like the american flag. 2 hours later “What the heck why can I hear fireworks at 8 o’clock at night time” I shouted. “Wow there are amazing fireworks out here” said Moana. “Eww I smelt the disgusting gunpowder throughout the entire thing. I think I sniffed some up my nose when I slept.

12 o’clock “ ok this is getting to out of hand”.”STOP LIGHTING FIREWORKS AT MIDNIGHT”I shouted. As I went back to sleep they thankfully stopped so I was really unfortunate about that because it was a celebration for people but it could really damage locals homes.

Recount- ANZAC ceremony

Today after morning tea we celebrated A.N.Z.A.C. which stands for  Australia New Zealand Army Corp. We had to show good respect to the soldiers who took part in World War 1. Milan and Michael represented the whole schools presentation. It was a very solemn ceremony where each class and their teachers paid respect to the soldiers who died or were wounded in the war.

We did the national anthem first then bowed our heads for the karakia. We did it on the field of Tamaki Primary School. Everyone had to participate in the ANZAC ceremony. Everyone stood because Miss Kyla was Welcoming all the children to stand To Do the karanga. Each class
represented poems,facts,speeches and other stuff.

I felt Really really sad because i want the world wars to stop. Because we can’t have more dead soldiers in New Zealand or Australia anymore.

My Tropical Milkshake Recount

WALT:write a recipe for a tropical milkshake

My classmates and I made milkshakes today because we had lots of leftover milk carton in our class.  Mrs. Sharma got the blueberries and bananas to make banana berry shake. I liked it because it tasted like banana. I would like to make one for my siblings and my mum if I had the ingredients. Next time I will ask my mum to get the ingredients and then I can make my own banana shake at home.
